Sri Kapileswaraswami Temple at Tirupati Tirumala  

Sri Kapileswaraswami Temple is the only Lord shiva temple in the middle of several Lord Balaji temples. It situates in the foothills of Tirumala, which is three miles from northern Tirupati.

A huge Nandhi stone statue greets devotees and passersby at the entrance to the kapileswara swami temple.

This Lord Shiva temple offers various sevas/ poojas for the pilgrimage, Mondays of the month of shravan are the most auspicious days for worshiping Lord Shiva. and Maha Shivratri, is the Most Auspicious Festival of Hindus and most celebrated.

One can have darshan of the main deity Just besides the temple the mountain stream fall directly into Temple Pushkarini known as Kapila Theertham which is said to be a most devine waterfall, and also there is a small park at the entrance on which they can relax and spend some happily with their family members.
