Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Pavitrotsavam Tiruchanur
Sri Padamavathi Ammavari Pushpayagam is the famous festival celebrated every year in Tiruchanur. It is celebrated during the period of Annual Kartheeka Brahmotsavam.
Variety of scented flowers like Sampangi, chrysanthemum, rose, lily, thulasi, Scent jaji, Lotus, Kaluva, Manoranjitham, Bilvam, paneer leaves,Dhavanam,Malli, Kankambaram, Ganneru, Mogilietc have been used for Pushpayagam to Sri Padamavathi Amman.
This Pushpayagam have been celebrated during the month of december every year. Every year, Each couple will pay the fees of Rs.516 for this Pushayagam. Around 200 devotees will participate in this Festival. Each couple will get compliments like 5 gram silver dollar, Angavasthram, Blouse Piece, Two Laddus and Two Vadas.
